Curbside collections of bagged yard waste will begin on Monday, April 10, 2023 by All American Waste. Weekly collections will continue thru Monday, December 4, 2023. If a holiday falls on a Monday, the pick up will be on Tuesday for that week only.
All bagged yard waste items must be inside Paper Lawn and Leaf Bags. Bags should be at the curb, but not in the road, no later than 6am on Mondays. All American Waste collects the bagged yard waste and can be reached at 860-289-7850 with questions pertaining to pick up delays and refusals.
Bags can be purchased from many local stores, such as Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Lowes, Ocean State, and grocery stores.
Twigs/and small branches may be bundled and tied with string/twine for collection. Bundled items must not be longer than 3 feet in length and no larger than a thumb in diameter.
Acceptable Items for bagged yard waste include: Leaves, pine-needles, pine cones, acorns, twigs, dead plant matter, thatch, and green grass clippings. Do not overfill the bags.
Unacceptable items include: household trash, plastic bags, plastic containers, rocks, dirt, sod, logs and branches wider than ½ inch.
