Adopt a Flag Program

To express our community spirit and honor those who died in the September 11th tragedy, the Town of Windsor Locks instituted an "Adopt A Flag" program to allow residents the opportunity to purchase a flag for Main Street.   The flags are flown during all Veteran's holidays, as well as during times of crisis, to demonstrate our pride and strength as a united community.

A one-time donation of $40 is the only cost to be a part of this historic endeavor.  A plaque listing all of those who have purchased a flag is permanently mounted in the foyer at Town Hall for public viewing.
