There were thirty-eight new cases of positive test results for Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) involving Windsor Locks residents reported to us by the health department from July 15, 2021 to August 12, 2021. No additional deaths were reported.
The Towns of South Windsor, East Windsor and Windsor Locks today issued a joint statement strongly encouraging all residents and visitors to our communities to wear masks when conducting business within establishments. Our communities have again seen an alarming increase in COVID-19 cases over the last few weeks. By wearing masks, you are not only protecting yourself but also others around you. Our goal is to keep businesses open and in-person school available for children. If numbers continue to rise at the rate they are, we are going to be risking those opportunities.
