Windsor Locks Weekly FoodShelf
The Windsor Locks FoodShelf is open on a weekly basis on Wednesdays from 2PM until 4PM. Proof of residency and income are required.
Donations for the FoodShelf are accepted throughout the year. Cash donations are also accepted.
The items listed below are items we are looking for to fill our shelves. Remember, the FoodShelf helps people year round.
We are especially in need of the following items: Canned Tuna, Canned Chicken, Cereal, Peanut Butter, Jelly, Oatmeal, Pasta, Pasta Sauce, Mac & Cheese, Canned Fruit, Soups, Box Rice, Box Potatoes, Granola Bars, Please check expiration dates we don't distrubute expired food. WIC - Gives out monthly coupons to be redeemed for such items as milk, cereal, cheese, peanut butter, juice, and formula. Must meet income guidelines and be either pregnant or have children under the age of 5. Must go to East Hartford WIC Office, 50 Chapman Place to apply.
