The Compost Site is CLOSED for the SEASON.

The schedule for the remainder of the season as follows:
November 21 - 23, Open 8 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.
November 24 - CLOSED
November 25 - 27, Open 8 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.
November 28 - December 2 - CLOSED
December 3 - 4 - Open 8 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.
Beginning December 5, 2016, the site will be closed to the public until spring 2017.
Permits are Required: Windsor Locks residents may obtain permits at the Public Works or WPCA Offices located on Stanton Road. Proof of residency is needed to obtain a permit.
Notes about permits:
Permits must be renewed annually
Please recycle your permit by reusing it each year
Keep your permit in your vehicles glove box when not in use
Bring the old permit with you when renewing
COMPOST FACILITY RULES:
Residents may bring compostable material and vegetative wood waste only. Items should be separated and placed in the proper area. See the site monitor if you have any questions.
LUMBER, WOOD FENCING, PRESSURE TREATED WOOD and CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS ARE NOT ACCEPTED. Contact All American Waste to inquire about a bulky-pick up for these items at 860-289-7850.
GREEN GRASS MAY BE DROPPED IN THE DESIGNATED AREA ONLY.
